There is often a need for a company to monitor a remote outfall for properties of waste effluents. These effluents may go to a Municipal Waste Treatment Plant or to a waterway such as a creek or river. An example is given below of a monitor for pH of a water effluent. In this example, the company has a permit for discharge with a limit of pH 5 to pH 10. The power needed for this controller may be very low and can be supplied by a single 100 watt Solar Panel.
